The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield, along with volunteers from the organizers of Oleksak Lumber Spring Half Marathon, host the Gordy's First Race, a 5k and 10k race on New Years Day each year, in memory of long time runner and Boys & Girls Club supporter, Gordon Bates.

Facilities - Showers and restrooms are available at the Boys & Girls Club. Plenty of free parking at the Amelia Park Ice Arena and In-Line Rink adjacent to the Club.
Dinner - Post-race food and refreshments FREE to all participants. New this year Hot Chocolate after the race!

From Route I-91 - Take Massachusetts Turnpike exit from 91 and follow above directions.
